For several generations, the Berthet Rayne family has been cultivating vineyards primarily in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. Currently in it's fourth generation, it is run by Laure Berthet-Rayne & Martial Capeau
The estate is located in the heart of the Rhône Valley, on the left bank of the Rhône River, between Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Courthézon, and Orange.
Their vineyards stretch across soils rich in clay and limestone, with a high proportion of rounded stones that absorb the heat of the sun during the long summer days and release it to our vines during the night. The vines average between 40 - 70 years old, and include red grape varietals of Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, and Syrah. White grape varietals include Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc
They practice organic viticulture management since 2004
