Vinos Lopez was founded in the 1970s in Epila, Zaragoza, by Abuelo Lopez, who was respected as a a pillar in the Epila community, producing wines that are an emblem of quality and authenticity in the Valdejalón region.
Recognized for his outstanding Garnachas and as a source of winemaking wisdom, Abuelo López, together with his son Mariano, began making their own wines in 1970 after acquiring the house that is now our winery. This bold step began the tradition of Vinos López, which today continues to produce wines of unique personality and elegance, perpetuating a legacy of tradition, effort and elegance
Today's the winery is run by third generation Mario & Antonio, who have taken the winery to a global footprint. The family's vineyards are certified organic, and retain the tradition of manual harvesting.
At Vinos López, they combine tradition and innovation through the use of cement tanks with epoxy paint, essential for the fermentation and storage of their wine. These tanks ensure the integrity of the flavors and aromas, maintaining the quality and purity of our grapes.
These tanks stand out for their organoleptic neutrality, preserving the natural characteristics of the wine, and their ability to maintain stable temperatures, crucial during fermentation. Their durability and safety reinforce the winery's commitment to excellence and authenticity in every bottle we produce.
